Sawai Gandharva Bhimsen Sangeet Mahotsav starts from 14 December 2022
From the past 2 years due to covid-19 pandemic music lovers have been missing the Sawai Gandharva Bhimsen Sangeet Mahotsav. This is the 68th year of the festival and it will be held between 14 to 18 December 2022, music lovers and fans will be able to enjoy the divine music. List of artist was announced by Panditjis son Srinivas Joshi in a press conference. The programme will be inaugurated at 4 pm on 14th December 2022. The festival which is held every year in 2-2 session on Saturday and Sunday will be held in one session this year.

Season tickets for Indian sitting (Bharatiya Baithak) and Chairs, will be available. This time, daily tickets will not be available. Music lovers can purchase the tickets using credit/debit card facility. The season ticket for Chairs is Rs 4,000, while the season ticket for Indian Sitting is Rs 500. The season ticket for students is Rs 250 and it is mandatory for them to bring a photo identity card while purchasing the ticket and entering the Mahotsav.
