PM Modi inaugarates a Shila Temple in Dehu, Pune

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Dehu on Tuesday, 14th June to inaugurate a Shila in the Sant Tukaram Maharaj Mandir. Around 45,000 to 50,000 warkaris were present at the venue. P.M. Modi was also dressed in traditional attire. Our PM was presented with a designer ‘Tukaram Pagadi.’ The warkaris welcomed our PM by singing the song ‘Gyanba Tukaram.’  The annual
wari will begin from June 20th 2022 onwards.



Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, state opposition leader Devendra Fadnavis and Pune MP Girish Bapat welcomed the PM Modi at the Pune airport.
Prime Minister Modi carried out the groundbreaking ceremony of the Palkhi route along with Union road transport minister Nitin Gadkari. Once the route is complete, the ‘warkaris’ will get a safe passage for ‘wari’. The ‘Palkhi Marg’, which has been given the status of National Highway, will have dedicated lanes for the ‘warkaris’.
