Every year with the onset of the Monsoon season, we rush to the market to buy Umbrellas, raincoat, gum boots or rainy boots, school bags and other stuff which keep you protected/ dry from the rains.
Especially in rainy season everything gets wet, i.e. Wet Shoes, Wet Sandals, Wet Clothes, Umbrellas, Raincoats etc. and it’s a task to get them dry and keep your home clean and fresh in this season. Due to this there is a typical smell in our house.
Here are a few tips to keep your home fresh this monsoon season.
– Fix a place to keep your wet raincoats, umbrellas, etc.
– Your shoes, sandals, slippers must be washed under water and then kept at a place to dry.
– You can also Add a cap of essence Phenyl or Dettol so that it will add freshness when you clean your house.
– There are various products in market which can add fragrance to your home like scented cones, scented candles, incense sticks, etc.
This will take away the damp smell from your house and will add fragrances.
Apart from the above you can also burn camphor which will also keep the smell away. Close Doors and windows and then put camphor in a plate and burn it. After its completely burnt, open the doors and windows it will keep the bad smell away.
Once in a while when there are no rains and the sun is up, open all your windows and let the sun rays come in, it’s a natural disinfectant. If you have cross ventilation make use of it, open your windows this will let all the bad smell out and you will get fresh air.
