No pandal in 2020, Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati will Install Idol in Temple.

This year, Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati, one of the state’s most-loved mandals will install its Ganpati idol inside the temple In order to avoid crowding. The Maharashtra government had appealed to avoid large celebrations and decorations during Ganeshotsav in 2020, taking measure to curb the spread of Covid-19.
This is 128th year of madal, but this is the 1st time in 128 years when celebrations will be kept to a minimum.
Numerous major mandals in the city have collectively decided to place idols in their temples. There will be no immersion celebrations carried out this year.
