Late Sumitra Bhave a renowned filmmaker`s last directorial Marathi movie ‘Dithee’ tells the story of a simple ironsmith and his journey of undergoing the pain of his son’s death and experiencing the principle of non-duality.

Late Sumitra Bhave was famous for her work in Marathi cinema, i.e. Doghi (1995), Dahaavi Fa (2002), Vastupurush (2002), Devrai (2004), Astu (2016) and Kaasav (2017). She won the President Golden Lotus National Award for the feature film Kaasav at the 64th National Film Awards.
The Trailer shows that there are dark clouds in the sky and a man is running and shouting name of Ramji whose son is drowned in the river current. The next scene ramji`s son has started taking responsibilities, he picks up a sack and goes for his daily chores in the farm and says his father to come little late. Ramji`s wife haven’t even completed full 9 months of pregnancy and as a tradition Ramjis family is expecting a birth of a son and in turn gets a premature daughter. Ramji is a true Varkari, he is not only angry for the loss of his son but also with Vitthal God to whom he has devoted 30 years of Vaari. His villagers tell him to read the Holy Book – Dyaneshwari where he will find all the answers for his sufferings and life. Time will tell whether Ramji will find all the answers.
