R K Laxman Vatika inaugurated by Usha Laxman at ITI Road,Aundh in the presence of Corporator Archana Musale
R K Laxman Vatika was inaugurated by Usha Laxman (Daughter in Law of R K Laxman) on 14th March 2022, this event was concluded in the presence of Corporator Mrs. Archana Musale. The R K Laxman Vatika is in Aundh. Besides Anand Park & Mantri Lawns society, ITI Road, Aundh. The Funds were given from the Local Development Fund of Corporator Mrs. Archana Musale.
From past 25 years the place was filled with filth, dirt and full of garbage. Advocate Archana Musale took initiative and Pune Municipal Corporation purchased & took control of this space from the owner and then this beautiful concept came in place of creating a R.K. Laxman Vatika.
Following dignitaries and members were present during the inauguration function Famous Choreographer Mrs. Uma Tilak, Shri. Malhotra (Father of Late Captain Malhotra), Shri. Harshad Murkute, Shri. Rajaniram Kulur, Captain Kaushik, Shri. J.P. Aggrawal, Dr. Venkatesh Lokare, Shri. Nana alias Shri. Jayaram Naravane, Shri. Masanav, Shri. Prakash Kulkarni, Shri. Rajendra Bagga, Shri. Mayur Mundhe, Shri. Milind Kadam, Contractor Shri. Akshay Sangale, Shri. Ranjeet Lokhande, Shri. Rohit Maske, Shri. Kiran Naidu, Shri. Hemant Pratape, Shri. Sadashiv Nevase.
In the near future, a statue of R.K. Laxman will be installed in the Vatika.
